Yippee exercise find...had to share!
I've got some great exercise finds to share. Every morning at 6:30 on Lifetime a show called "My Workout" comes on. Each day features a different workout style and a different instructor. Monday was yoga (not my favorite but okay), Tuesday was kickboxing, and Wednesday was circuit cardio. I haven'****ched Thursday's since I did my Leslie Sansonne, "Walk off the Pounds" today instead. But this switching up keeps me from getting burned out and it is so much more fun that the treadmill. I also love my Leslie Sansonne tapes. The one mile is not challenging enough so I will usually use it later in the day after doing a "My Workout" on Tivo...today I am still a bit under the weather and so is Eddie so I let him watch me do a mile with Leslie and call it a day. Even though it is a fifteen minute mile with about ten minutes of warm up and cool down, I still can work up a sweat, especially on a blah day...
But the "my workout" has been such a lifesaver...I was getting so burned out on the treadmill but can't afford a gym...this is like having a personal trainer every day...check it out!
I went to Baptist last night after a dr appt and swam. I liked it a lot. I used to do it prior to surgery during my 3 mo weight loss program... yes a size 24 bathing suit... now I'm probably a 10 but bought a cheapy 14/16. its too big. I was afraid of swimming too fast or else I might flash something! haha But I did try on a size 8 and it was snug. I was exhausted when I got out of there!
