I got my Magic Bullet yesterday with all the attachments! I have heard everyone rave about it. So now that I have it what do I do with it. I am not a big breakfast person so anyone have quick good tasting protein things? Any other suggestions will be appreciated. Life is a string of problems, held together by moments of pure bliss. Enjoy the moment it may be your BLISS! Linda Tidwell

What kind of protein powder do you have? One scoop protein powder of your choice, water, ice. That normally is ok.. unless you have crappy powder. Then if you have bad powder, doctor it up... maybe with some fruit. if you are at the stage you can have a just a little fruit... two strawberries? I dont remember how far out you are... or you can get you some SF davinci syrup or chocolate sauce... lets see... milk/egg protein powder from Kroger is nonflavored, and has a good protein count... you can add some fuze drink to it, some ice and make some type of drink that way... My fave: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 8 oz Strawberry melon fuze (sold at Publix, & I think Kroger) 2 strawberries You can also replace the fuze with water, or milk, or half water, half milk (either micellar milk or carb countdown) You can make up your own concoctions. Did you get the protein pack? Send me your email and I will send it to you. There are some protein recipes in it.... perfect for the bullet.

Thanks, this morning I tried vanilla powder with strawberries (frozen) with water. WOW. Very quick and I don't have to deal with the blender cleanup.

what is a magic bullet? It sounds like my thunder stick that I have had for years. I use it on slimfast. Lee Lee Craig

This is a small, powerful blender that comes with 4 mugs and one short and one tall blender cups that you can then drink your smoothie out of. Less to clean up than a blender. And, because you put everything in the mug and then turn it upside down to blend, it blends it really well and very fast. It's also great for pureeing or finely chopping foods like chicken, turkey, tuna, soup, eggs, etc. The mugs & tall cup are about 12 oz and the small cup is about 6 oz. These are the perfect size for mixing the size meal we need. The tall and short cups are also microwave safe so you can heat your food after you puree it. I love my bullet!

So, with the Magic Bullet, you can puree meat? I was wondering about this, because I was thinking about buying one. ~~Elena

I haven't tried beef roast or pork/ham products so I can't say how they do in the bullet. I have pureed turkey, chicken, eggs, tuna, ground beef (chili) and Chunky Soup in my bullet. All of them did must fine. I was able to get everything to the consistency required during my 8 weeks of pureed post-op. This allowed me to have "adult" tasting food during that stage.

Hi Elena. The best meat to use in the magic bullet after surgery when you start your pureed diet is the chicken in the can (called chicken of the sea - just playing ). But there is some ckn in a "tuna" like can and it can be found with the tuna. I forget the brand name. It is soft because it is in water or some type of juices. You can throw that in your majic buillet with some spices (like salt, pepper, garlic powder) and even some shredded cheese and if you like, some mustard or lite mayo. Blend it up good (but don't over blend it) and you have a pureed meal and it is pretty good. I lived on that during my pureed diet. They also have the ham in the can but I never ate that because the ckn was soo good. Misty
