Happy Administrative Assistant's Day!

My boss had a bouquet of ballons delivered to me a little while ago along with a very sweet card of appreciation. I have the greatest boss!!!!! I'm about to head over to the luncheon that is held every year for all "Staff" level employees on campus. This year we are having prime rib & lemon chicken with all the side items. Yum! I'll smell the prime rib and eat some of the chicken and veggies. I may get someone to let me have a bite of their dessert. To all of you out there who carry the work load and make your boss look good to their boss...Happy Administrative Assistant's Day!

I also won one of the centerpieces in the drawing. So now I also have a beautiful floral arrangement to adorn my office. The card from my boss says: Front - Hot! Hot! Hot! Read this ASAP!! inside - Just wanted to make sure that this card wasn't buried among all the other crises of the day. Thanks for the great work you do! If you could see my desk... He's afraid to touch anything or lay anything down. My piles are very organized but I'm the only one who knows where anything is.

Congrats on winning the centerpiece! Yes, all of us do a great job, regardless of the title we hold... just sad we have to have an official day to remind our bosses to give us appreciation that we deserve!!! My flowers that Shelia brought to the protein party are still living! Can you believe that? They are still so pretty... wait! Shelia, are they fake??? I didn't notice... looked real to me! haha

Nope they are real!!!!! I just did not put my "black thumb" in them, everyone says they have a "green thumb", but I have always said mine was "black", because I even kill silk flowers!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Glad you are enjoying them!! Shelia
