Accountability Post - For Tuesday's Food Intake
Hi All! Thanks to everyone who participated yesterday. This may work out after all! This post today is for what you ate yesterday, Tuesday. I know some people already posted this on yesterdays post. I will post tommorrow morning for todays food. Thanks agian everyone!
B - 6 oz Yoplait Yogurt (100 cal; 20 carbs; 6 protein)
L - 5 oz of a Kashi Lunch meal (145 cal; 16 carbs, 11 protein)
S - PowerCrunch Bar (200 cal; 10 carbs, 13 protein)
D - 6 oz (didn't weigh) - 2 individual made low fat/low carb pizza (low carb tortilla broiled extra crispy, turkey pepperoni, low fat cheese and low fat/no sugar added spaghetti sauce) and 6 french fries (broiled) (didn't add up nutritional value)
S- One SF peanut butter cup (don't know nutritional value)
Fluid: 60 oz
Exercise : Walked 1.8 miles and climbed 93 stairs
Vitamins: Foltrin - yes; Forgot multi vitamin - oops- only took 400mg of calcium citrate

5:30am - cappuccino made with skim milk & Splenda
B - Vanilla protein shake with 1/4 banana & Cinnamon Bliss added - YUM!
mid-morning - coffee with Cinnamon Bliss & FF creamer
L - about 2 oz chicken only from Chicken Enchilada casserole, a couple bites of cooked carrot, couple bites of romaine, 1 Tbsp raisins, 1 strawberry
S - 1 peanut butter cookie, it was hot & fresh from the oven when I picked it up at lunch
late afternoon - coffee with Splenda & FF creamer
D - 1/2 c romaine, 2 oz deli sliced turkey breast, 1/2 oz shredded cheddar, 2 tsp Ranch dressing
water - 68 oz
vitamins - done
exercise - 16 flights of stairs & trips to 4 bldgs on campus
At least I did better on the coffee angle today!

Here is my list for yesterday!
B- 2 slices toast/ 2 Tbs. grape jelly 170 Cal.
L- 2 pieces of bolied corn/ 1 C. Stovetop stuffing 300 Cal.
S- 1 C. SF Jello/ 2 T Cool Whip 45 Cal.
D- Turkey Sandwich with lettuce, mustard, and mayo
SF Jello with 1 tsp. Cool Whip 340 Cal.
Fluid= 64 oz.
Exercise= Constantly on the move. Walk so much sometimes my knees hurt and legs go numb! Also climb stairs several times a day.
I also wanted to share something that I have been doing. It takes a few minutes to do but when eating something and you don't want the complete serving size. I always sit down and divide the serving size by the calories and I get a pretty good approximation of how many calories I'm getting for one or two pieces of something. Like a package of ham I bought has a serving size of 3 slices for 60 calories I don't want 3 slices I may just want one so I divide 3 into 60 and I know each slice of ham has 20 calories. Sounds simple but just thought I'd share that with you all.
