Good Morning! There is an accountability post on other boards and I thought it would be a good idea to test it out here to see if anyone wants to participate. I will post everyday. You just need to post what you ate the previous day. You can include any information you want to or know about the food (i.e calories, protein..etc). The only "rule" is to be honest - hence the accountability part. Everyone can participate - pre-op or post-op. I believe this will really help everyone. So come on everyone and post (that means the lurkers too ). If we do not have a lot of people who want to do it or participate, we do not have to do this. I definantley do not want to be the only one putting all my food habits out there! haha. I knew I was starting this today so I ate fairly healthy yesterday compared to normally. (see -this is already working!). Monday: B - Yoplait Light Yogurt (6 oz; 100 calories, 19 carbs, 5 protein) L - Lean Cusine - Ckn, cheese, broccoli, rice (6 oz; 203 calories, 28 carbs, 14 protein) S - Power Crunch Bar (1.4 oz; 195 calories, 10 carbs, 15 protein) D - 6-7 oz of Homemade Chili with cheese and 3 crackers and two bites of my husbands baked potato - don't know nutritional value but it had 80/20 hamburger meat and chili beans and tomato sauce and rotel tomatoes so it wasn't too bad. S - 1 sugar free jolly rancher Fluid - only 48 oz

Seeing this is this format really lets me see how much coffee I had yesterday. WOW! I knew yesterday was crazy but I didn't realize how much 'grab & go' I was doing.

Hi Carolyn. How is that turkey bacon? What brand and is it fast and easy thing or did you have to cook it? I have not tried turkey bacon yet but would like to. Does it taste pretty good or does it just get you buy? I gave up pork about a year ago (personal decision) and I would love to find some hot breakfast food to eat other than eggs but I need it to be fairly quick (heat and go kind of thing). I did try the turkey sausage links but did not like them. I have cooked with ground turkey and have tried turkey pepperoni and they are both good so I do not know why I didn't like the turkey sausage. I might try the turkey bacon if it is pretty good and a quick thing to make. Thanks Misty

Misty I like the turkey bacon better than the regular.I take 3 slices and put it on 3 layers of paper towels with 1 sheet on top then it is 3 minutes on high in the microwave oven let stand for a couple of minutes. You may have to watch it, my oven is real old so it may be slower than yours. By the way I am going to start using my nick name from my childhood it is Lee Lee (Carolyn Craig) Lee is my middle name. good night
