Anybody heard from Steve W--how was surgery?

Just wondering if anyone had heard from him or his wife--I know today was his surgery day. I've been sending prayers up for him.

I talked with his wife about 5pm. He did fine and was in his room. She said he was having some pain and they were going to come get him up for his first walk about 6pm. He did have a lap procedure. Woo Hoo! He is in room 3207 at Centennial.

I called and spoke to Steve myself this morning and his mother was there with him. He said that he had a good night and that "This is different", I told him yes it was, but it would all be worth it and that we are all here for him if he needs us. I asked how the walking is going and he said the first one was rough, but the more he does it the eaiser it is becomming!! Just to let yall know!! Shelia
