We are supposed to weigh daily but it is driving me crazy. It'll go down and I get all excited then the next day it'll be back up a pound or two and stay there for a few days then back down. It's driving me crazy! I'm continuing to do what I'm supposed to do. Do you all weigh every day??? Thanks, Janie

I weigh daily only because I have become obsessed with it! haha But lately, I have been bloated and it will say 151, 150, 152.5, 149, one day it said 148... so if I ever get unbloated, I hope it will go from 152.5 to 130!!!bwhwhahahaha!!! yeah right. I couldn't get THAT LUCKY... or could I?

I do weigh daily even though my doc says to only weigh once per week. I try to use the daily fluctuations as a reinforcement to continue to do what I know I need to do. I have found that quite often the day with the lowest number on the scales is not the day that "should be" my official weigh in day. By knowing that on Sunday I was down 1 1/2 pounds from the week before, it makes it easier for me to get on the scales on Tuesday and see no change from the week before. I can also look back over my journal and see that maybe I was a little heavy on the salt Sunday or Monday and that explains the higher weight on Tuesday due to fluid retention.

I also weigh daily and I use it as a guide to keep me on track, just as Susan does, it is good to know that I am not the only one doing this and I am not completly . I do however, also weigh on Tuesdays and I write this down as my official weight. I keep a journal and I can also tell if I have had things a little higher in sodium, because my weight reflects this as well. I guess I have become obsessed with my weight now, I guess it is because I will never allow myself to go back up again. I reached 189 this week and it feels sooooooooooo good, I do not know when the last time I was at this weight. I have 49 pounds until my goal, however I am trying to focus on going down and never going up again. Each 10 pounds I tell myself, I will never see the 190's again. Hopefully soon, I will be telling myself that I will never see the 180's again!!! Yeah!!

Congrats on hitting a new decade! I love to see that middle number change now and know I will never be 180, 170, etc. again. Right now my goal is to see 15_. As of this past Tuesday (which is my "official weigh in day" too) I was at 160. I hope to see the new decade this Tuesday.

You will see it Mrs. Skinny Minny!!!!!! and very soon!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see that one either, but I know it will be a while, I have tried to figure out when I might see it, but I have been unable to determine it yet. I know that our weightloss slows down around the six month mark, but I hope maybe I will be there or close before six months!!! Who knows, only time will tell!!!! Shelia

Yup, I weigh every day... every morning. It will drive you crazy especially if you don't see the scale moving. But it will definitely keep you in line. But Janie, your so early out, you'll have flucuations but they won't be "real" weight gain...jus****er. I got down to 188 the other day... this morning.. I'm back up 190 But I've had a crappy week..didn't get near what I should have in protein and water. Had bad eating days and very little exercise. So... it will definitely keep you on track. But, you'll get use to the flucuations and know if they're true gain or jus****er or whatever.

It seems that I have been 15_ for ever! My weight loss has slowed down a LOT! Heck I even tried to go back to liquid for 2 days, did ok the first day but then the second, I thought, "This is stupid. I want to chew up something." I COULD have kept doing the liquid. I wasnt hungry. But I would rather eat chicken breast and salmon than to drink more protein shakes lately. I am not sure why but Easter weekend when I went to IL, It broke up my routine, I got nothing I wanted to eat, and now I don't seem to have a very good appetite. I just haven't been feeling all that keen about food... couldn't even do protein shakes very well... nothing tasted good. I'm just in some sort of funk... but I did try on a shirt today that I bought here while back and it finally fit... that dang scale just isn't moving though.

I do, but I also know that going up a pound a so between days is normal. I find it the only way to keep on track... Maybe once a week would give you a better idea on how your doing, minus the ups and downs...lol!
