CIGNA APPROVED ME IN 48 HRS.**

Hello everyone, Dr. Spaw's office just called and I have been approved for the surgery. I am so excited and in shock at the same time. My surgeon will be Dr. Mcdowell and I have my first Pre-Op appointment with him this wensday at 1:30. Any ideas on what to exspect this first visit?? Thank you all for your prayers....

Not alot to expect do you know what surgery? I am having rny April 24 I live in knoxville TN and having it in Maryville. What got you approved do you know? Do you have alot of illnesses? I am happy that you got approved Annrenee

Hello Annrenne, I'm haveing the GB and as far as illness, I only have highblood pressure. Only prayers got me approved.

CONGRATS! I am so happy for you. I am sure you do have a lot of emotions right now. At your first appointment they will give you your surgery date and the surgeon will go over the procedure to make sure you fully understand the process and all of the risks associated with the surgery. He will give you a chance to ask any questions you want. This was a big step to a new and improved life. You will be amazed at how much your life will change. Therefore, I will officially apologize for laughing at Drs office for telling you that they would have an answer on Friday I apologize for doubting every insurance company in the world I apologize for thinking insurance is the anti christ I apologize for thinking they care more for the almighty buck than patients I apologize for cussing out the man who cut me off this morning I apologize... Congratulations . I'm so happy for you. I also have Cigna and have 3 more months of the MD supervised wt loss attempt before i can submit mine for approval. Did you have any problems with Cigna? Also, was there a reason you picked Dr, McDowell rather than the other surgeons?
