Anyone from Memphis area?

I live in arkansas but am planning on haveing surgery in memphis. How do you get approved and anyone have reccomendations for doctors? Also I am self pay and have put up around 13000.00. Anyone know around about cost of gastric bypass?

In the Memphis area there is a Dr. Woodman I believe and he charges $18500.00 for lap band and $28000.00 for gastric bypass. If you can travel to Nashville Centennial Med. Center has three doctors in their practice. Dr. Dyer charges $13500.00 for lap band and I believe $24000.00 for gastric bypass. You need to attend a seminar for either doctor to start the process. I started off by attending the seminar with Dr. Woodman in Memphis but after doing some research I took the advice of many on this site and visited the Centennial Med. Center and just love them.
