o my fibrofog got me again lol birthdate!
Annrenne
When I weighed 176, and then within 2 weeks was 167, I got confused... kind of like dyslexia only with my memory thinking, "Wait a minute! Was it the other way around?" The same thing happened at 165 and 156... I thought "Ok which one am I? I was just 165, now I'm 156, or was I really 156 last week?" It got really confusing! So I understand about the age mixup
I have fibromyalgia too. I totally understand about the fibromyalgia brain fog. Man does it get old. Can't concentrate and just feel like you're in a daze all the time. I am so forgetful and get things mixed up. Then when you have something planned (such as this Saturday's protein party that I missed) your body says nope I am way too tired to even get out of bed. You ache and hurt all the time no matter what you do to try and relieve it. I feel your pain literally. The fibromyalgia is one of my major reasons for wanting to have the surgery. I have talked to a few people that have FM before and after weight loss surgery and they say most if not all of their symptons have vanished. I sure hope you and I can say the same thing post-op! I am so happy for you. In 8 days you will be a loser and on your way to a happier healthier new you!

Unfortunately I also suffer with FMS, I have suffered for about the last 10 years. I am 3 years out and sorry to say that my FMS hasn't gotten any better. I have fewer bad days in a row, but I still have them often enough.
I think the confusion/forgetfullness is the worst symptom for me. I graduated from college with a 4.0 and a degree in accounting. Now I can't seem to add without paper pencil or a calculator. Oh well such is life. Hope you have better days.

Hi Annrenee, I don't have FM but it's twin sister RSDS. That stands for Reflex Sympathic Distrophy Smydrome. It's in my knees and attacks the Sensor nerves. When it's not in remission it's like a floor burn from one end of the basket ball court to the other end. But it's under the skin. You can't put any weight on the knees like kneeling to clean the tub when it's not in remission. So far it hasn't gone any further since 1998 when it was first diagnosed. It will attack all sensor nerves until it runs it's course then go for the central nerves. My legs don't feel hot or cold because it has attacked the sensor nerves. But I never even think about it, so it doesn't get to me. The leukemia Cancer that is in my blood and bone marrow in my spine is a totally different problem. I can't wait until you are sitting on the losers bench with the rest of us. It's a great feeling. I weighed in last week at Dr. Colquitt's at 127.5. This morning in my birthday suit I weighed 122. That's a total of 177 lbs lost for good. I haven't tapered off a bit. Plus I have my tummy tuck on Friday morning, and that's excess fat that will be weighed.
I wish you much joy and happiness for days to come.
May God travel with you on this new journey. Love Kathy
