Today is my 4 month Surgiversary!

I have lost 75 pounds. My highest weight was 316. My weight at surgery was 282. As of today, I weigh 207. I only measure my neck, bust,hips, one arm, one thigh, and my waist...so far I have come down 38 inches off of these measurements. I think I am going to start measuring my calves, both arms, both thighs too. I have a new haircut and am feeling good...even with strep throat. I have posted some new pictures to my profile.

LOOKING GOOD I can't wait to get that close to 200. I hope at my 4 months I'm that close. Way to go. Keep up the good work. Charlotte

That makes me feel so good, Ellen, thank you so much! I had a few people I watched really closely while I was in the approval process and still watch a couple of them...in addition to my friends on this board as well. It can really pull you out of a bad mood and give you inspiration on those days when you just feel hopeless. I know you will get approved soon so hang in there. By the way, I am still trying to digest the information that YOU are a grandmother...you look so young! (Not that grandmothers are old, but you know what I mean!)

I LOVE the new hair cut. It is very cute. I have always been scared to cut my hair really short but you did it and look great. I am probably the only one to tell you this, but "just say no" to the highlights. . I think it looks perfect just as it is. Not that it wouldn't with the highlights but I like it! Oh yeah -Congrats on the weight loss (goes without saying). You are doing fantasti****ep up the great work. I am glad you are feeling better. See you Saturday! Misty

This is one of many times I've had my hair short and I always love the freedom, but eventually I start missing a ponytail and grow it out. Now, I'm not so sure I will want that anymore...we'll just see, lol. As for the highlights, I think I have decided that if I keep my hair this dark, I'll just leave it but if I decide to go for highlights I would need to lighten it all over. It is very dark now so I think highlights would be too drastic...see you Saturday!
