My hair

Well my hair is back to normal. I was not feeling good this morning. As a matter of fact, after I stopped for gas, I had to turn around and go back home. Either that or stopping at the quickest gas station halfway to work... well you can imagine the reason why, of course... I just havent been feeling good the past few days. I think its all the change in my eating habits since I was out of town. I didnt have food I wanted or that even appealed to me to be honest. But back to my hair. I called my stylist and she had a 1:00 opening. So now the ole Melinda is back! My scalp is not so obvious now that she has colored it reddish and streaked it blonde. Hallelujah! I feel better. Then I went to my mom's work where she had to walk me through to meet everyone. They were all suprised that I have lost so much. My mom called me later and said "I will not say anything else about your tummy." She said that a lady at work told her that another lady's sister who had surgery never lost her tummy like i had. Well that made me feel good. That's the area I feel so weird about... self conscious. But after she said that, my mom and me both agree its not as bad as I thought...

I think we are all too hard on ourselves and way more self-conscious about stuff no one else pays any attention to...The skin under my arms is bugging me but my husband doesn't even notice it. By the way, I got my hair chopped off...almost had "Melinda" highlights put in but I chickened out...who knows, I may go back tomorrow!

OH MY GOODNESS KYM!!! YOU LOOK FANTASTIC WITH THE SHORTER LENGTH... SO MUCH YOUNGER LOOKING!! GO FOR THE HIGHLIGHTS!!!! I've been super busy this past week.... only had time to read posts.. not much replying. I feel so bad about it too... but I just had to comment on your new hair do!

Thanks so much! I am still debating...everyone seems to think the highlights would be a good idea. I just hate paying so much money for a few streaks.

Yes, much better...I still have to take the meds for a couple of weeks but I feel so much better. I got a call from my doc this morning and Kathy was on the money with the ra**** was a staph infection caused by the untreated strep one...apparently, I've been sick with strep for a while. I'd bet since January...serves me right for not going to the doc sooner! I'm debating on the highlights...I'll surprise everyone and keep them guessing til Sat.
