Update On Sonya Denton

Just wanted to let all you who are acquainted with Sonya know............. I talked to her today.......... She sounds great but tired, of course! She has been walking and had some jello and tea!! WOO HOO!! She is to go home tomorrow and start her new life. I told her that there were many well wishers posting on here for her and she was so appreciative of all of you. Thanks for remembering her in your thoughts and prayers................ Blessings to all! Karen

I stopped by to see Sonya for a bit this evening. She is looking very good! She was feeling better now that she can have liquids. She said, "As God is my witness, I'll never be thirsty again!" I also got to meet her hubby Tracy. He is a gem! He is behind Sonya 110%! He's taken 10 days off from work to be with her so he can take care of her at home. How's that for sweet?!

I called but she was sleeping... I asked her husband about whether she was up for company and that I may come tomorrow after work, but sounds like she will be home! Good to hear that she did great!

I talked to Tracy late this afternoon....he said she's doing good; she'd been up walking the halls several times! I had hoped to go see her, but if she's headed home tomorrow... I couldn't go by until after 5 when I finish work in Gallatin anyway. YEA for her to be doing well enough to go home already!!! I sure believe God answers prayers-Sonya is proof!! Thanks Karen for the update...maybe if you're ever over this way, we can meet up and go to her neck of the woods to see her together! Rhonda
