I live in Lexington, Tennessee and I can't find a support group closer than Memphis so I am taking the group leader training from OH. If any one would like to join please contact me at [email protected].

Hi Carolyn, There is a support group that meets in Jackson every 4th Tues. It is a new group that has met only 3 times. It grows each month. I missed last month but the month before we had about 7 or 8 members. This month we are meeting at a new place. Our group leader Darlene will probably see this post & give us the directions. Ellen

Carolyn, I am leading the support group in Jackson , I have been through support group training at Centennial Medical Center (where I had my surgery) and am currently doing the OH leader training. We would be delighted to have you join our group. we have people who have had surgery in Memphis and Nashville, and folks from all steps of the process. We have some who have just started, some waiting insurance approval, some 1 year out, 2 years out, and 3 years out. Also, some who have already had plastics. Darlene, I have started the Oh leader training also, but I would like to come to your meetings until I can get my own group started. I haven,t had my surgery yet so I feel a little lost about leading a group. When I started my training I didn't know there was a group closer than Memphis.
