I'm Home and Alive! LOL!
Well, I have two crappy things going on...the rash on my arms is a staph infection. NOT from my surgery but most likely from an illness I had in January...just been stewing inside and according to him, this is common???? Okayyyy.... Anyway, the second thing is a nasty case of strep throat. The two combined, along with dehydration, has just made Kym a miserable girl. He threatened to put me in the hospital and call Dr. Houston unless I got my butt on the couch or in the bed and kept a bottle of water in my hand at all times. He even called my Dad back there, (and I'm 34, how embarrassing), and told him the same. My blood pressure was through the roof but he says this is due to being sick and dehydrated. The staph infection has mostly run it's course and the rash was sort of like it bubbling to the surface and out of my system. I kind of know what he is talking about since my daughter had a similar thing happen last summer. We thought it was a spider bite but it was a staph infection. So he has me on antibiotics, a special lotion, and lots of fluids. He told me no school for the week and wrote an excuse. He did say I would not be contagious as of Wednesday so as long as I am feeling okay, he said I would not be a danger to anyone in going to the party Saturday. So, Lord willing, if I am feeling much better I will see you all on Saturday. Thanks to everyone for all your prayers and well wishes...I just love you guys to death!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so glad to see that you are okay, somewhat????????? I hate that you are going through this, but you need to take care of yourself and do what you have been told. I know that you really want to see us on Saturday, but if you are not feeling better, you put yourself first!!!
Take care and listen to the doctors orders!!!

Welllll...I guess you won't wait so long next time you start feeling bad!! I'm glad to hear that they found what the problem is and can treat it.
We'll see you Saturday, ONLY if you are feeling better. If not, you'd better stay on the couch. Better your couch than a hospital bed.
Take care of yourself sweetie!
Hi Kym, I do hope you are feeling better by Saturday. Regardless, I still have to wear a mask, not because of you, but because of the pollen that is out and that I am having my tummy tuck done on April 20. I had a bad case of strep throat about 2 years ago, didn't get it taken care of and broke out in a rash, the rash is called Scarlatina, between the strep throat and the fever, untreated it caused the scarlatina rash and staph infection set in. I will pray that you start feeling better so soon.
Hope to see you on Saturday if you are feeling better. Love Kathy
