WOW! moment

I can't wait to let y'all hear this one. I met with Shelia today for a trip to the sugar free store and lunch. When we got to the restaurant the hostess led us to a booth and Shelia told me she was going to let me take the smaller side of the booth because she wasn't quite there yet. Y'all, there appeared to be about 6" of space between the edge of the table and the back of the seat! It was probably more like 8 or 10 inches, but it was T-I-N-Y! Memories of not fitting into booths came flooding over me and I felt that same fear. Shelia told me to go ahead, she knew I would fit. I fit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only my ribcage (you know, with my girls sitting on the table top). I mean ALL of me fit. I even had some space left between the edge of the table and the girls. The shock must have been written all over my face because Shelia started giggling and told me she had just gotten to witness a wow moment instead of just hearing about it online. WOW, WOW, WOW!

Oh, I've been sooo busy! My new job and school is torchure. I don't think I'll be staying with the job too long, it's not conducive with my school schedule, but enough about my woes...how about a WOW... I got behind the wheel of my father's car today and I couldn't fit in the car before my surgery...the wheel was digging in my belly...but today there was several inches between me and the wheel! I was so happy! Hope everyone is well, see you Tuesday.

Yes, you all thought her smile was bright and big now, you should have seen the smile and look on her face when she realized that she fit into that side of the booth. It was so funny and wonderful to experience at the same time. I knew what she was thinking, because she paused before getting in, but I just knew that she would fit, and when she did I just wanted to get up and and I think it also took both of us a lot to hold back the tears in our eyes . It was so wonderful to experience another WLS persons WOW moment and not just hear it, it will give you CHILLS!! TRUST ME!! Shelia
