new to board and so excited

Hi my name is Raquel and I hope to have gastric bypass soon at vanderbilt. I have one more appt with nutrition/psych classes that the insurance requires then I submit to Aetna. I live in Greenbrier and can't wait to go to the next meeting in springfield. I have already talked to a lady about it and everything sounds great. I'm also happy to find this board cause its great to hear about local places and things nearby. I'm so glad to be here. Thanks:o)

Hi Wanda. Welcome to the boards. I went to my first Springfield meeting this month. I hope to keep going. I had surgery at Vanderbilt. The next one is on the 19th at 6:30. Hope you can make it. It sounds like you are really close to insurance submittal. Keep us updated on how that goes! Misty

Welcome Raquel!! It is glad to have you with us, everyone here is wonderful support. I had my surgery just 8 weeks ago today and I do not know what I would have done if I had not have found this board just after my surgery!! So glad you are here with us!! Shelia
