It's official...I'm not

NUT'S. I had my psyc exam today ....via... telephone. The Dr. called me this afternoon when I came in from work, we talked for about 45 minutes. His office had sent me a questionaire with 340 questions that I had ansewered & sent back to them. After studying my ansewers he called & did the exam over the phone. I live 80 miles from Nashville and they said they do this for out of town patients. At the end he said I was a good canidate for WLS. YAHHHHHHHHHH Now all I like is the last 5 1/2 weeks of my 6 mo. Dr. supervised diet. It's getting so close I can taste it. LOL Later, Susan O'

Hurray!! One more step closer to surgery! When I went for my psych exam, I told him "I'm not crazy, just fat!!".

what type of insurance do you have? I am pre-op too and I have BCBS of TN. I was just wondering how many hoops you have to jump through in order to get approval. It's good to know there is one less nut out there for us to worry about...LOL. Good luck! Melissa

Susan O, Congrats on not being crazy! I passed the test too but sometimes I wonder if he didn't just pay some guy off the street to come sit in his chair for an hour to talk to me... the guy probably got tired of hearing me talk so said, OK, YOU'RE GOOD TO GO!

Well, if you want me to be truly be honest, I had my exam on October, Friday the 13th. Therefore, I believe she knew that I was crazy and figured that this surgery was probably the only thing that could FIX me!!! Therefore, that must be why she climbed under the chair and had me sign on the dotted line as she sent me on my way !! Shelia
