2 Pounds!
Well, I was driving myself nuts not knowing if or how much weight I might have gained in the last 2 weeks since finding out that I was approved. So, I decided to run by the office and get on the scales. I have lost 2 whole pounds. Now, that might not be a lot, but for not dieting and saying good-bye to all my favorite food.... lets just say that I've been on the "see" food diet these past two weeks. I am just so relived that I have not gained any. Whew! Now I can concentrate on watching my calories and my carbs for the next 2 weeks.
Thats great Kristen! See, you were stressing out over nothing!
. I did see in your other post that you are going through the "second guessing your WLS" phase. That is completely normal also since you are so close to your surgery date. Can I just suggest that you get actively involved in a support group (as well as this web site). After the surgery, most people will go through the "what did I just do" phase and some depression. For some, that could last a few minutes and for others it can last a couple of months. Just to let you know so that you are prepared for it if you do go through that after surgery (which you may not). I didn't get actively involved in a support group like I should have so I went through that phase a little longer than I would have liked but I think having support is probably the best thing when going through that. Have a good day.
