Hello Centennial people
Just wanted to say Dr. Olsen spoke at my support meeting tonight here in Cookeville,
I could have listened longer but the group only meets for about an hour. He seams like a very nice man. I was first referred to him but after going to Cen. seminer I found that the hospital was in my network, but not the Doctors. So I am going with the program at Baptist Hospital. I got about 6 more weeks on my Dr. suppervised diet.
I am mostly a lurker here & have learned alot.
Thanks, Susan O'
Welcome to the board, from one Susan to another! I'm glad you decided to come out and play with us.
I'm sure you will be pleased with the doctors at Baptist too. I know I am! I had my surgery with Dr. Spaw and could not have been in better hands (and continue to be). I too attended several seminars before choosing my surgeon.
I hope you will post often and let us know how things are progressing for you. We'll be praying for a speedy insurance approval and surgery date.
Susan
Hi Susan--
I was at that meeting too, but I didn't meet you...I think I saw you there, though. So...it's nice to meet you!
I thought Dr. Olsen was very informative. That was my first support group meeting. I've been to seminars at Vanderbilt and Baptist and I'm scheduled for Centennial's on March 31st. Right now, I am leaning toward Baptist.
I'm on my way with the doctor supervised diet thing too--halfway there--3 mos to go!
It sounds like you are doing good---sliding into home base if you only have 6 weeks left!!!
Maybe I'll see you at the next support group meeting in Cookeville!
Rhonda
