Greetings my friends,
My date on friday went okay. I found out that I am much to serious for my date. We decide to remain good friends. We talk almost everyday for hours. The movie was great and so was dinner. We had several great conversations and fun. But age is one of the problems I had. I am 29 going on 30. He is 54 going on 20. Not a good mesh, but a good friendship. I am not sorry for the date or meeting a new good friend. Which is what I preferred in the end. I am okay with everything that went on. I talked to him for three hours before the date the night before so I can get to know him a lot more than with my family around. I found out with the talk that we shared alot in common but we are still very different in our ideals of the future and life. But I still gave the date a chance and meet a great new friend. It has been a lot time since I had a good male friend in my life to talk out ideals with . So in the end everything worked out in the end. I am not sad about the date but really happy with the whole thing.
I am going to keep my mind open and see what the future brings. I hope one day I will find someone with the old world values of manners and considerations that makes a good relations. Plus being animal lover will not hurt either. I am better for the wear.
I would like to say thank you for all your encouragements and kinds words. They did a lot for my self esteem. Thank you my good friends. And keep all your hopes and dreams alive and kicking. There is always a silver lining it all depends on how you look at things.

After meeting you on Saturday in person, it is just a matter of time. I am sure that you will soon have them lining up to go out with you, the only problem is finding enough time to fit them all in.
