Stomach bug

Let me just say that there is a very nasty stomach bug going around. Since I have five kids that are in school and daycare of course I caught it from them. I don't know if anyone has had a stomach virus 5 weeks post op but I wanted to crawl into a bed and never wake up. Called my surgeon because I thought for sure my stomach was going to be blown open, of course it wasn't. They had to give me suppositories to help me just keep water down, it was either that or get admitted and do it iv. So.....moral of the story.......go on vacation when your kids get sick. lol

Bless your heart. The 2 ladies in the office next to mine got this. Since I'm in and out of their office all day long I was extra paranoid. They both said it was one of the horrible bugs they had ever had. Then my boss got sick with what we thought was this same bug and I just knew I was destined to get it. So far (knock on wood) I've managed to avoid it. Turned out the boss had something else that was not contagious. Whew! Hope you get to feeling better real soon. Little ones are just walking petri dishes for whatever bug is out there.

I just hope my low immune system, wearing a mask, gloves, and using hand santizer will help me not get this bug. I can't afford to get sick right now. I continue to lose, and with surgery next month and finding a place to live, getting this bug would put me in the hospital. I pray you start feeling better. Love Kathy
