Hello...anyone in the South Pittsburg, TN /Bridgeport, AL area?

HI there.... I live in NE Alabama....close to Scottsboro. I was wondering if there are any support groups in the South Pittsburg, TN area? I had RNY in Dec. 2005. I was 282 lbs. Today, I weigh 145 lbs and wear a size 10/12 pants and a Sm/Med top. I go next week for my PS consult. I am very happy with my progress, and so thankful to have had this surgery and the opportunity for a new LIFE. Thanks for letting me post on the TN board. Hello Pam! I'm not sure about a South Pittsburg group. I meet a lady from that area while I was at Memorial meeting with the nutritionist. Anyway, she said that she came to the Chattanooga support group meeting. I live in Lookout Valley/Tiftonia and work in Trenton. I have lots of co-workers from Scottsboro and they all come to Chattanooga for everything. Hope this helps!

Hi Kristen... Thanks for the reply! Chattanooga is my hometown...lived there MANY years ago! At this point, Chattanooga would be a more difficult drive than Huntsville AL is. At least Huntsville is a straight shot and not as congested as Chattanooga is. Take care... Pam
