WOW

Yesterday at work I was on my way to the rest room and a lady where I work says hello Juanita!! Oh my goodness you look so Skinny!! I was like what??? Your talking to me?? She laughed and told me I look great and I thanked her tremensly. Also last week I had an interview with a dept where I work and on my way to my desk was stopped by a guy that I work with and he said you've lost weight haven't you? I said yes and told him how much he then says " Wow you are looking really good" This is from a male!! Oh my goodness!! Compliments just make my day

yayy! Compliments from males frighten me LOL I don't know how to react to them. I'm married and my husband is constantly complimenting me and I'm fine with that, but when it comes to others... I just freak out and usually run in the opposite direction lol At any rate..gotta love those wow moments keep up the good work!

Hi Juanita, just love the wow moments. They just keep getting better. I haven't gotten to the moment of wearing heels yet, too many dizzy spells, but I can't wait for that day when I can get dressed up for a change. As for the male, just goes to show not all of them need to have their eyes rechecked. I'm proud of you, love Kathy

Well, girl, I got another one for you to make you feel even better. I finally got around to carrying my laptop down to my mom's to show her the lunch bunch pictures. I wanted her to see the difference in the pic one month after my surgery and the last one, two months after surgery. She was looking at the pictures and she points to YOU and says, "who's this?" I tell her who it is and I told her about what you had said at lunch about sometimes feeling bad because you are farther out that most of us but are at the same weight as some just a few months out...but how you had lost so much weight and were doing so good. My mother says, and I am quoting directly, "Well, I don't know what she is talking about because she is beautiful. I think she looks good right now. Why are you girls so hard on yourselves?" So there you go, another WOW moment for you!

Give your mom a big ol' smooch for me! She sounds like such a sweetie!
