Prayer request

I just got off the phone with hubby. He is a school photographer for Lifetouch. Today he went to do classroom groups at Rutland Elementary School. One of the teachers there was very upset and told him that one of her students died last night. The little girl was sick and her parents took her to the emergency room, TWICE! Both times she was sent home. The third time her parents called an ambulance because she was in such distress. She died at the hospital. I cannot imagine what those parents are feeling right now. Why didn't the ER staff realize how sick the child was?

How sad! That is so scary! Savannah has been sick for a week and when her fever spiked at 104.3 I nearly took her to the ER but I was able to bring it down. She is finally better and will go back to school tomorrow but it is so awful knowing that even when you take your child to the ER, there is no one going to care like you do. I will certainly pray for the family and loved ones of this child.

OH that is so sad. Wonder what the child had. The poor parents. I feel sorry for that doctor. Ellen

What a horrible tragedy. My prayers for her soul and for peace for her family and friends. If I were that child's mother and I'd been turned away repeatedly with such a sick child, only to lose her, I would want to be a BIG part of the come to Jesus meeting that ensued in that department.
