I saw my mom's co-worker at Walmart Sunday. My mother asked her yesterday what she thought of my weight loss. This lady said she thought it was great, but that hair do sure did not do a thing for me... she hates the color Then my best friend said she didn't mean to be critical, but my eyes are sunk in and I look tired... now those are some nice compliments if I do say so myself... NOT Should these hurt my feelings? Shoudl I not care what they say? Before, no one ever said a thing like that to me. I guess they figured it was enough that I was fat, and didn't want to add insult to injury... now is it ok to tell me how they really feel? sigh Well at least I weigh less than both of them... where I never did before.

When will we ever get over what other people think of us? I LOVE your hair girl! I dont understand why other people think they need to hurt us. As far as your eyes, I did not think they were sunken. As long as your lab work looks good and you are getting in all the vitamins and protein you are supposed to, you should be ok. Be vigilant on what your body needs so your heart wont suffer and whenever someone says something negative, you can tell them that you doctor says you are GREAT! That usually hushes them up. Unfortunately, protein cant really be measured until it is too late. You are beautiful, regardless of what they say! Focus on yourself being the healthiest YOU that YOU can be and you will be FABULOUS!!!!! Hugz to ya!

I second what Paula said. I love your hair...color and style! It suits you!! As for the sunken eyes thing. I know if I get behind on my water I get a tired, sunken eye look about me. Even my husband knows now that it means I need to get some fluids in me. You look marvelous! Your skin is glowing and your eyes sparkle! Who asked for comments from the peanut gallery anyway? I think it's that old green eyed monster whispering in their ears. Luv ya chicky! Susan

Hi Melinda, I agree with the rest, you do look great. Who cares what others say, what matters is how you see yourself. I remember when we first met, your smile and your dimples makes you a very beautiful person. Be glad they are talking about you, they could be talking about someone else and could be they just jealous. Mom always said sticks and stones will break our bones but words can't hurt us unless we allow them. Remember they are only words. When people say things like that, stop them in their tracks and say Thank you. That takes the wind out of their sales. Love ya, Kathy
