Body part appreciation day

I thought about this yesterday while getting ready for work. I was putting on a pair of tall boots that I had bought several years ago because they were not only "plus size calf" but they had a lacing up the back and a gusset to add even more room. I had quit wearing them because my calves had gotten too big even with the gusset. I have lost 7 inches from my calf and, not only can I wear the boots again, the gusset is actually folded in where it belongs. So today I celebrate my much slimmer calves. They help me on my daily walks and no longer complain when I take the stairs or wear high heels. What body part do you want to celebrate today?

Susan, Not sure if this qualifies as a body part but I am thankful for my hair. I did not lose a lot of hair after surgery and I think it my best asset personally. ; 0 )

Definitely my legs..from about mid-thigh down LOL They have always been there to carry me...screaming at me for forcing them to carry such a heavy weight...when I weighed 366lbs...and still screaming at me for pushing them to their limit during exercise. I jogged for 30 minutes yesterday. My thighs and calves are protesting today but in a good way. Another body part I've grown to admire is my shoulders ... I can see my clavicle! I think it is so pretty, dainty and feminine.... ha ha dainty! My husband thinks I'm sooo small, my granny thinks I'm too small! Who woulda thunk it?? 207lbs is small?? haha April

MY BRAIN It has been the worst and the best part of my body. Lately I have learned how it can be the best help to me without knowing it. It is a unbelievable body part to me lately.

My collarbones! My goodness, even the fact that I have them! They are so new to me and I love seeing them, feeling them!

I like my wrists... I can finally put my middle finger to my thumb with the opposite hand... before i couldn't even see the bones! I like my cheeks too... on my face not my buttocks! haha, although they are getting smaller too!

I've got great legs and hair. My ankles have always been so small that my husband could put his thumb and second finger around them. They've only swelled when I was pregnant. My hair is naturally curly and thick. It was blonde, straight, and thin until I was in the 2nd grade, got lice, and my mom cut it all off. It came back brown, curly and thick. I've always been vain about my hair.

I am just happy that I am actually starting to feel good in my whole body!! I can see my collarbones too!! I went and got a pedicure while we were on vacation and think I'm going to keep doing it. Having my toenails painted makes my feet look smaller. I am with April- who would have thought that 207 pounds would feel small. I am down to 197 and am getting all kinds of compliments about how I look now. I went into a plus size store and because of the way their shirts were made the smallest size (14) was too big!!! Wooohooh!!!
