Dental implants anyone?

Does anyone have dental implants or know anyone that does? Who in the middle Tn area does them and do you know how much they are? I have got to get this horrible hole in my mouth filled...it is so embarrassing!!!! Any infomation on them would be greatly appreciated!

My boss has implants. I'll ask him for his dentist's info for you. I'm just going to go with a partial plate to replace the teeth I'm missing. Last visit to my ortho, she and my dentist said that I'm almost done with the braces! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so glad for you! I have lots of teeth missing. I have soft teeth like my brothers and my mom. One brother had dentures by age 30. The only teeth I have left are in front...I am missing most of my top right teeth and bottom left ones so chewing is a challenge sometimes. I had a partial but then the one it hooked to on the left had to be removed because the partial had killed it...I wish I could afford to get an entire mouth of implants but I will settle for one to help with asthetics.

Hey Kym, Thought I'd drop you a line to let you know that I have been thinking about having implants as well. I have asthma and my dentist explained to me that using my inhaler was mostly to blame because the solution settles in my teeth. I try to drink something behind every puff now, I suppose it's doing good, but I've had one of my molars pulled and now that that spot has been empty for some time my teeth seem to have shifted. Although my teeth are really tight in my head they don't have any spaces in them and they are hard to flossat times but the top is where the tooth was pulled and I see a change in my teeth on the top. I wondered about braces to straighten the top and I want an implant to fill the missing void. Oh well if anyone can help Kym you'd also be doing me a favor by helping me as well. Diane
