New addictions

OK, maybe its just me... but I have become addicted to Goodwill. Yes, you read it right... the Goodwill store! I can count on one hand the number of items I have purchased there in 5 years. Now this week, I have been there every night and bought a new bag of clothes each evening. I am enjoying clothes shopping and getting them so cheap. I love bargains. But everyone just keeps saying how many new clothes I have,. I bet they think I got a raise but nope... just small enough now to enjoy the benefits of the Goodwill store...

Goodwill is wonderful! At one point in my life, I had to wear a suit to work everyday. Well at my size that presented several problems....one being selection, and the other being price. Goodwill was my savior. I plan on using them again once I have my surgery and lose weight. I hope that you enjoy every minute of it!!

Cool addiction!! And I'm glad you're having so much fun getting new clothes! I've always liked the consignment shops for clothes, too. Probably not AS good deals as Goodwill, though. Oh, I still pine over a dining room set I wanted to get from Goodwill. It was perfect for me, but I didn't have the house at the time (my old house didn't have a dining room) by the time I came back with the money, somebody else had snapped it up. Lvoe Dennie

We have always shopped Goodwill for camping gear. I haven't been in a while though. My daughter and daughter-in-law have kept me in clothes. I am currently moving out of the smallest size my daughter gave me and into the clothes from DIL. I've bought a few things for work from the Clearance racks at Target & Wal Mart. I LOVE being able to find cute things on the clearance racks now! I need to hit Goodwill and see if I can find some more work clothes. My new addiction is high heeled shoes. I love being able to wear my heels again and not walk like I've been hobbled and have every joint in my body ache. I feel like a girl again! **And my son said I am "Hot!"

Hi Mel, my addiction is trying to find something to support the AAA size Dollies, I am always looking for something to keep them in their place. But between no butt, underware won't stay put, and when I raise my arms or move in a certain direction, out the beauties come from under the sportsbra. I ought to take up a new profession, striptease. Do you think I could get away with it? I mimick the red thing for H & R Block that dances around from the wind.
