Already Planning Life After Surgery

Since getting my letter of approval I have been Planning how to restart my life. I have been looking into the classes at the local Technology Center. I have decided to enroll in the business systems technology class. I see 2 degrees that I am going after. I love working with numbers and I really love simple math. I've had some calculus but I hate it so bad.......lol I have a degree in drafting but I never did fini**** It obviously is not really my cup of tea.........lol I am so thrilled to be able to have this second chance that I am planning like I have a child on her way off to college.......lol I still had to get Centennial 2-5 yrs of medical records and my psych exam before I can get a consult date but I am on cloud 99. If I go any further I will bump my head. Just know that I will be back working after surgery in no time at all and I'm thrilled. Can someone say EXCITED?!!!

Thank you!!! I am a goal setter. I always have been but in the past my weight has hindered me. I can go back to school more content knowing that I'm looking forward to better health and a life that I have wanted to get back to for so long! I will definitely let you all know when I get my date. My cousin wants to document my journey with a camera.....that's exciting! A friend wants me to publish in the local newspaper.....Oh those two. Why don't I just make the choice to go on t.V.?! LOL

CONGRATS!!! And there is nothing wrong with planning like a child! Or playing like one for that matter (we got snow last night, I've been out playing!)

Thank you. I do have to admit that I am a natural born kid at heart. I see nothing wrong with me acting like this. I actually "rub" off on people. I love the snow too. We got some but not much. This is where I miss living in Ohio. I grew up there as a kid and me and my oldest brother used to love playing in the knee deep snow. I'll keep you all updated.

Diane, I am excited for you! I remember the excitement I experienced. But her is my words of wisdom. Enjoy this excitement and remember it. It can help along your journey. When you become discourged remember this moment and recreate it in your mind, it will get you going again. Don't wait till........ Meaning start now doing the small things that will get you back to school if that is your dream. Don't let your weight hold you back now. Start now with the things you want to do. Don't weight!!!! I actually called the school today and enrolled! I will be able to start in September! Yay, yay, yay. Some things have changed and in 1 years time I will have my bookkeeping diploma.

Diane, It is truely wonderful you are planning ahead and setting goals for yourself! I just know you will achieve anything you put your mind to. It is very admirable the way you"rub" off on people, so many people have negative vibes and very rare that you have a positive influence. Keep up the great work!!

Awe shucks! Thanks. I am also going to file for my Pell grant today as well. I got the school code and everything yesterday so I'm going to go ahead and apply for my grant. I was hoping to get in a little earlier but September was the soonest I could get into class but I'm not worried about that in any way. I believe that i was put here on earth the make people smile and give them good vibes in life. I do have a deep compassion for people no matter who they are! I will still keep you all updated on everything!

Hi Diane, I know you are EXCITED, so is everyone else here for you. I will be moving over towards the Nashville area on Monday. Hopefully, we'll get to meet at our luncheon on Feb. 10.
