It's been a long time!

Hello Everyone! My name is Bill Wampler and it's been a long time since I've posted on this site. I had my surgery in Johnson City, Tn on March 29th, 2005. So far I've lost 171 lbs. Dr. Hodge did my surgery. So far everything has been wonderful. All faces have changed on this board except one that I remember, and I have to say, Kathy Newton, that you look awesome!!! When I left the board you were still trying to have surgery. I am so happy for you! I prayed hard that you would get your surgery because you were always so supportive of everyone else, even when you were struggling. Anyway, it's good to be back and I look forward to getting to know everyone here!!!

Hi Bill, glad you're back. I had my surgery on Jan. 9, 06 The picture was taken Mother's Day when I still weighed 220.8. I am now down to 150. Found out in July 2005 that I have leukemia. Now they are finding out I also have cancer. But I feel great. I'm not worried about making my goal of 130. I am really thin now, plus with the excess skin, that will take me even lower. What have you been up to lately? I always wondered what happened to you. Keep us posted on your progress. Love Kathy

Hello Bill, My name is Sara. I had my surgery in J.C. also. Dr. Hodge was the surgeon I used. I have done great. I had my surgery May 2nd of this year & I am down 112 pounds that I know of. I only weigh 1 time a month when I get my B-12 shot. Glad to see you are doing so well. Best of luck w/ the rest of your journey. Sara.
