Hi Kym won't have the results back for a week, I see my surgeon on the 15th of Nov. before anything else can be removed. On the 14th, I have to have a needle biopsy on the right lymph node in my neck, it is pressing on my throat so I have a hard time swallowing even liquids. When ENT Dr. gets the results, then he will be either discussing surgery or not. He needs to let my oncologist know what is going on also. When a ct scan was ordered for my abdomine and pelvic to make sure the cancer hadn't spread to those nodes, they should have checked my neck also. cause the node on the right side under my jaw, is swelled also, and hurts a lot there. I have a feeling I am in for a long haul from the leukemia and it affecting the nodes. After all my leukemia is cancer of the blood and we all know where the blood goes in our bodies. My ENT (ears, nose, throat) Dr. loves seeing me, he says no matter what I have been thru or what is facing me, I always have sunny disposition when I'm in his office. Can't cry over split milk, it's a fact I have leukemia/cancer, so why bother crying. I did that when I was first diagnosed over a year ago with the leukemia. Now, this allows me time to get all my affairs in order, when some don't get that chance or even think about it. I even told my sons they need to get their legal affairs in order, just in case of an accident or a disease attacks them. That means life insurance, legal care of their minor sons, Living will, all that should be done. People think they have a whole life time ahead to worry about that stuff, but a car accident can change all that in a heart beat. So I think after the honeymoon, is to get all legal affairs taken care of. It can always be changed with a codicil attached to the Will, but what about the living will, and a durable power of attorney that doesn't live in the home to carry out their final wishes, that takes some of the burden off the sponse. It's something to think about. I will post further when I know the results next week. Thank you with love, kathy
