Nashville Obesity Walk

I'm officially registered.... who is going to be there? do ya'll want to walk together?? April

Yep, yep, yep! I want to walk with you all. I don't know what I'll be doing at this point. I am on the planning comittee and I know we will be handling registrations and passing out shirts & goodies that day. I'll have to let everyone know Friday evening where I can be found. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone. Susan

Hey Susan, I was wondering.... how is everything going to be set up?? I was wondering where we all can meet. I've never been to the Hall of Fame Park before. Will there be signs and such to point to where we need to go? Do we have a place where we have to check-in at since we've already registered? Also, when I registered online, it said that the size of my tshirt I requested was on backorder...will I not get a shirt at the walk??? You should have never mentioned you were on the planning committee LOL April

To start with, there will be someone at the entrance to the parking lot behind the GEC handing out parking passes so you won't have to pay for parking. They will be able to direct you if you haven't already seen where we are set up. There will be tables, canopies, port-a-potties, etc. so we should be fairly easy to find. There will also be music going on to help you find us. Our order of shirts has already arrived. They always order plenty of extras because so many folks register the day of the event. Your shirt will be held in reserve for you though since we already have your registration and know your size. You will need to check in to receive your shirt and goodie bag. This would also be the time and place to turn in any sponsorship monies you have collected. Your check in will go faster since you have already registered. The walk route will be marked. But, we walk as a big group anyway. Since I have to be there at 6 a.m. the morning of the walk, I would be willing to kiss the feet of the person willing to bring me a Starbucks Venti Cappuccino - non-fat, 2 Splenda. I'll reimburse you when you get there. We're gonna have so much fun!!!!! Susan
