Hello all, I am not very good about updating but here it goes. I had my surgery on July 14th I am 6 weeks out. I had open gastric by-pass. It was a little tough at 1st. when I first started on puree I couldn't keep it down. Now I am doing great I can eat very very moist chicken and I was able to eat a very extremely small piece of steak. Steak happens to be my favorite hope it will agree next time. Oh so far I have lost 45lbs. I have went from a size 26W to a 18W I can get into 16W but snug. I cant believe how fast it comes off. It is simply amazing. I am walking on a treadmill and water aerobics that helps tremendously. My asthma so far has not given me any problems. I have energy I did not even know excisted. Sara when you read this know I remember you telling me about your trip out the 1st time every where you went and so on. well I went and went and still going it is amazing. Good luck to everyone out there. This is the best thing I have ever done for my FAMILY and my Health. God Bless you all, Sarina :

Sarina, You do not have to thank me, you did all the hard work under going the surgery and now losing weight too. You deserve it and more for the tough decision to have the surgery. Many people do not know what it is to be big and to suffer from health problems or just not liking yourself because you can't do what others can at a smaller size. You keep on losing and never look back on the weight again. Your life is changing for the better. You are now a loser, keep it up! Your friend, Tina

Sarina, all I can say is.......... YOU GO GIRL!!!!! Your weight loss is great. I knew all would be well & I am so happy for you. Isn't this almost the best thing that could happen to you? I know is has been for me. I will know Mon. when I go to the Dr. how much I have lost. I know one thing. I am now walking 2 miles a day. Before my surgery I couldn't walk one foot hardly. I would just about keel over. Life is great. Better than I ever thought it could be for a while. Keep up the good work & keep me posted. Lots of luck. Sara.

Sarina, Congradulations on having the surgery and for the amount you have lost. Just wait until you lose that first one hundred pounds, it's is so exciting. Does your nutrionist allow you beef this early? Becareful as it does have more fat in it then the chicken. I am almost 8 months out and still have a hard time with beef. My taste buds change each month. I wish you much success in your new life. Kathy
