Update on my referral letter

Greeting Friends, Well I got the call at 12:30 pm today. My pcp office call and told me ,they call the WLS office and asked them what was needed of them. They WLS office told them that they needed nothing from them. Well I said that was really strange because they called me tuesday telling me I did not have a letter referral from my pcp stating my weight is affecting my life and health. I asked them if they would be so kind as to go ahead just in-case send my referral letter to my wls office so I would not be rejected by my insurance. They said they would send it. I felt really good about that. But I could just slap myself because I forgot to asked them to please, make a copy of the referral letter. I will have them copy it for me tomorrow. I will also call the WLS office to make sure that they received the letter too. I can still see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am just so excited that I can barely contain my joy. MY journy is almost over. All I got to do is wait to hear if I was approved or rejected. I do know this I have gone the distant and still suvived the trail by fire so to speak.... I climb the hill and came down the mountain I made it throught the diet and live.... Your friend, Tina

Your PCP must state in the letter that it is Medically Necessary that you have this surgery. I wish you much sucess in getting approved. By the way, your journey is beginning. Love Kathy
