HELP!!!
Terry, I know I can't get in all my water each day. But I at least drink things with water in it, like decafe tea made with spring water, can't stand tap water anymore. Lemonade made with splenda and spring water, also keeps kidney stones from forming with this heat. Are you drinking tap water? I found as much as I loved water before surgery, I could only drink Deer park after surgery. So I don't use tap water for any of my drinks. Try this recipe, it's great tasting and it's a water drink.
One pound of fresh or frozen (thawed) strawberries put into a blender. One pound makes 2 quarts, add spring water to make 2 quarts. Add some splenda to taste, it also enhances the strawberries, it's frothy, great tasting, and it's a water drink. Maybe that will help you.
I have crystal light, but here lately it's been wanting to make me queasy. So I take 3 cups of splenda, a gallon on spring water, 1.5 cups of lemon juice, and now you have home made lemonade. Tastes great, and everyone will enjoy it, I don't however add fresh lemons as by the next day it's too tart to drink. I just slice them and put them in a bowl or on the edge of the glass for those you want a more lemonade taste.
Let me know how that goes for you. I also found Gerber Apple juice works better for me then regular apple juice. I keep some in the cabinet at all times.
Good luck, wish I could help you out more, but you're where I was when I started having problems with tap water, even when it was in the refridgerator. I even tried the flavor waters, ugh. Tried various spring waters, and found Deer Park worked for me. I wish I knew more or could help. It's a trial and error at this stage of the game. Love you, Kathy
Thanks kathy. No, I don't drink tap water. I have been drinking Sam's Choice from WalMart but I'm going to try the Deer Park. I don't know what it is.....I'm thirsty but the thought of drinking water or any liquid for that matter just makes me nauseated. I'll try your recipes and let you know how they work. Thanks again, friend.........Hugs, Terry
