Does anyone have any information abut Dr Ray and Colquitt at Blount Memorial Hospital?
Hi Christen, I had Dr. Colquitt. I am 6 months out, and have lost almost 100 lbs. I didn't feel Dr. Ray was the surgeon for me personally. I really like Dr. Colquitt. Dr. Ray will assist with Dr. Colquitt, and vice versa. But my choice is Colquitt all the way. He's quiet, but very informed. Has no mortality rate, meaning he's never lost a patient in the 3 years he's been doing this. I have a lot of scar tissue but he was able to do laproscopic on me. He has really taken great care of me because I am on chemo for leukemia. It was causing my potassium to drop too fast. I would call him that I couldn't keep anything down and before I would even get to Maryville, he would have me already admitted and a bed waiting for me. He's good to make sure if you have any questions, he'll answer them and have Mary call you right back. I'll be back on Monday at the library to check on my email. So if you have any questions, just email me or put my name in the subject line. I'll get it. I think I am the only Kathy on this board. Best of luck in your decision.
May God travel with you on this new and exciting journey. Kathy
