2mnth check up and unexpected WOW moment!!!

Went for my check up yesterday and i'm down 64lbs!!!! i'm sooo amazed, my surgeon says i'm doing great and i'm right on target! It averages out to almost a pound a day.... I wasn't expecting that much, I thought I'd actually hit a stall but 17lbs in a month isn't bad at all...i'll take it!!! I love these WOW moments.... I just wanted to share my excitement! thanks april !!!! They did get it open some but my surgeon said that it isn't open as much as it could be and that next time don't wait until it's that bad to get it done... so from what I got from him he is almost certain it will happen again. But you know what... that is ok w/me...I mean look what i've accomplished so far!!! This surgery has been a lifesaver for me. Even through all my complications, I am grateful for this tool! I also ended up in the ER the night before my Drs appt w/ another serious kidney infection... this time in my left kidney.... but i must take most of the responsibility for it..i have not been getting in enough water, which in turn is not flushing out my system properly...so if I can encourage anyone from my situation it is DRINK PLENTY OF WATER!!!!! These infections hurt soooo bad I thought I could just die!!!! I am planning on going tues to the Y for water aerobics...are you gonna be there??? Hope all is well... Rose

I'll be there! I haven't been going as much lately...my energy levels have dropped severly. It's all my fault, I haven't felt like eating. But I'm working on it. See you Tuesday! april

Rose, cons on losing that much in two months. I am ing for joy for you. Keep up the great work. I love being a loser, and I know you are too. Soon that wedding dress will be too big on you. I haven't tried on my wedding dress from my last wedding, but I wonder if it is too big for me now. Take care and keep remembering why you had this surgery. Love Kathy
