Since surgery, my worst experience was throwing up once when I ate too fast, and got an air-bubble stuck in my stomach. I have had no bad experiences since then.
So, not everyone experiences horrible pain after bypass. If that's your only option covered by insurance, don't discount it.

Dr. Inge sent me over a link to a nice interview conducted by Matt Lauer about Teen WLS. Check it out by clicking the link below. If the video does not start for you immediately or does not respond when you hit play, look to the right of the video player for the sign that says, "Click for QuickView."

It’s been really tough lately keeping up with the balancing act of working, taking care of my family, and keeping in good shape. I want to look good, eat healthy, and provide healthy options for my family. I feel like something always ends up on the back burner. That’s why this forum has been so helpful… thank you for that! I did have this one idea that’s helped me a ton. I bought this Foldtuk container on a whim (www.foldtuk.com) and it really did help me out. I cook a lot all at once and then can just pull out my bakeware from the freezer and stick it in the oven. It’s easy and allows me to make some healthier food choices than just calling up Dominos or whatever! Have you ever seen it?
