Hey Amy!....My BMI is 41 right now. I have my consultation appointment with Dr. Robert Cole on January 7th! It's coming so soon! My New Years resolutions are: Do whatever it takes to get this surgery. Get this surgery before summer. Become more active. Start eating healthier, and get my hubby and daughter(2) on tract with their eating. Start taking my iron pills.(I'm lacking energy) I can't think of anymore right now. Can you tell I have this surgery on the brain? I can't get it off, and I don't think I will be able to concentrate on anything else until its done and over with!

Girl you have to relize you body is basically going into shock. You HAVE lost almost 50 lbs in less than 2 months. That is half of what i have lost in 6 months. Right now your body is saying " ok i just dropped 50lbs now i need to relax for a week " Don't weigh for 2 weeks ( i know seems way to long ) and i bet when you weigh in 2 weks you will be shocked at how much you lost. ~Amanda Open RNY 325/225/150 or less

I think that though out losing weight... you lose like 20 lbs. then it stablizes for a while then you lose again... then stablizes maybe plateau for a while then you lose weight again. Its very frusterating! All of october and november i was fighting for weight just to come off like working out 2 hrs. of cardio a day 5x a week hardly anycame off, then all of a sudden without looking 19 lbs was gone in december with less exercise.
