hi, crystal. My name is Lap. I'm not in high school anymore, but I WOULD LIKE TO CONSIDER MYSELF STILL YOUNG. If you like you can write me. I'm 23 yrs old, if your wondering. I started out the same about the same weight as you, lil heavier. I'm 1 month post-op right now. I still have same kind of problems a sixteen year old has I suppose. Boyfriend who can't grow up, family that treats me like I'm a kid! You think you'd grow out of that stuff!
Or if you want, you could just read my journal, I am a very sharing person. I talk about all the things I'm going through in my life all the struggles and even have some photos. i don't think I'm as far on this trip as you are, but hey! support is support, right?

hah, Hey, Andrew here. I live in Bartlett (Memphis). I'm 17 (18 in Oct.) and a Junior in HS. I don't know what surgery I want yet. Lap-Band or RNY?
The doctor says I can have the surgery in the summer, like in June, if everything with the insurance goes well. Either that or I guess Fall or Christmas break (too long away
). cheers
BTW, it's my first post!!! "CELEBRATION, B******!!!" from "CS"

Hey Nikki,
I had the band back in December and time has just flown by. Soon you will be a post op and everything will be going great for you! Im sure you know you have to give up carbonated drinks like soda and things of that nature with sugar content. So try to eliminate all soda before surgery so you get used to it. Also, get yourself some Crystal Lite mix and I am enjoying Fruit Punch Sugar Free Kool-aid. Just some things to try. Go ahead and go to GNC and get yourself some protein shakes to try so you can find one that you enjoy, or you can go to (www)bariatriceating.com and order some stuff from there. Susan Maria throws samples in so its a pretty good deal. Try to eliminate sugar and start working out. Good luck and God be with you.
Blessings,
Megan
