EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE OK! I TOOK SOME PHYSC. HELP ONCE WHEN I WAS 13 FOR ME AND MY MOM'S RELATIONSHIP. WE WERE ALWAYS FIGHTING. I THINK YOU MIGHT NEED A 2ND PHYSC. TO GET A GOOD SAY SO. BUT IF U HAVE TO HAVE SOME PHYSC. HELP ITS OK. IT HELPED ME AND MOM OUT ALOT BUT SHE SHOULD NOT BASE THAT ON UR ABILITY TO HAVE THE SURGERY. GOOD LUCK I WILL PRAY FOR U AND LET ME KNOW HOW THINGS GO.

thank you so much for all of your thoughtful comments and prayers and words of encouragement.....I am planning to get the RNY-gastric bypass surgery but I dont know that I will be able to get this done before school resumes in August. This is my biggest worry......I am praying I will let you all know......

Hey girl! I had the same thing happen to me and i was like im not crazy and no councler is gonna tell me that i need to be put on meds, or to see a physchiatrist and he wanted me to be on an antidepressant for three months. But i went to the physchiatrist and he said he sees no problem and now i have a date and my surgery is on tuesday. so keep praying and dont get discouraged. believe me i have been there it will work out. GOOD LUCK to you.

Hey, I had a hard time getting the surgery approved through Accordia, but if you work at it you will get what you want. I hope that you get approved right away so you can start with your life change. The surgery is very rewarding! If something goes wrong and you need some help with the process feel free to ask me some questions! Lord knows I jumped through multiple hoops for the insurance company.

I sent in my information on friday to the insurance company and now I am patiently waiting for a response. The lady said that I should receive a response with 5-7 business days.....please keep your fingers crossed for me because I want this surgery soooo bad and I know that I deserve it. I sit and think of what a hollow deep dark hole that being overweight has done to my life and I know that this is my only way out. I hope and PRAY that I do get approved...please keep me in your prayers......thanks

calm down and take a deep breath! You seem so overwhelmed like you are letting this surgery take control of your life. You sound like you are so stressed. You will be able to get the surgery, all you have to do is work your problems out with your mom and dad first, so that when you do eventually get the surgery, you will have a clean slate and you wont have to deal with all of the other issues that were at hand before. You sound like a wonderful individual.....keep faith and just work through this....believe me, you will be so much happier after you have both your parents support and blessings......
