Hi Daniel! i actually remeber reading a few months ago that you were going to be on ABC 7 and they were going to be there for your surgery and i meant to tell you that i caught your segment! Just wanted to let you know Any way your doing great...i really hope i do as well as you. 68lbs is ALOT of weight to loose in two months so your doing amazing! I know they say anything you loose before the 1st fill is just an added bonus but i'm still hoping i loose some. Anyway thanks for your encouragment! my aim name is Blacklaceonivory and my email is the same. Take care and keep up the great work

Topic: My Second Fill!
Hello Everyone,
This week marks 10 weeks that I have my Lap Band. Today was my appt for my second fill. The doctor said I am doing great. So far I have lost 38 pounds since surgery and I lost an additional 30 pounds on the pre surgical diet. So in total I have lost 68 pounds in 2 1/2 to 3 months. I feel great. Last month when I had my first fill the Dr. filled my band to 5 ccs. Today the Dr. put in an additional 8 ccs. I think thats a lot of restriction but lets see what happens. Well everyone take care!

Hi Robin,
My name is Daniel and I live in Staten Island. Your right in my backyard. I am 17 and I have had the lap band for a little over 2 months now. I was on a two week liquid diet before my surgery. And during those two weeks I lost 30 pounds. From my surgery to now I have lost an additional 38 pounds. So in total I have lost 68 pounds in about 2 1/2 months. I feel great. This surgery was the best thing I have ever done. I wish you alot of luck on your surgery. Hey if you have any questions about post~op please email me @ [email protected]. Just wanted to say hi! I havent posted on here in a while and i see there are some new people so i thought i would say hi. I'll reintroduce myself...i'm Robin, im 16 and im still in preop stages and planning on having the LapBand. My psyc eval is next tuesday so i'm nearing the end of the preops. i'm pretty excited. Anything i can help anyone out with feel free to let me know. Take care...i hope this will get the board alittle more active right now

Also, When I had surgery I was back to school and work full time in a week. What type of surgery are you getting? I had the gastric bypass rny, and I was back in under 10 days. Why do you think it will be too much?
