Topic: RE: Clothes
I buy all my clothes online because well I love in germany and all the girls here are the size of a toothpick. I mean they do have bigger size clothing but they are so not cute. They have great clothes online, some websites i got to are alloy.com, torrid.com, fashionbug.com, sizeappeal.com, bandlu.com, and alight.com. Good luck!

Topic: Medicaid?
I probably should have asked a long time ago, but my surgeon seemed fine with it. Okay so i've yet to submit for an approval through my insurance. I have Medicaid/Helth Plus. Now latley i've been hearing that it's very difficult to get an appoval through Medicaid what ever age you are, but i've heard it's way worse if you're younger. Anyone else have Medicad approve them in their teens? Also, i'm haivng Lap Band, so i know that might cause ANOTHER problem, i know insurance will be alright to approve RNY alot of times but deny lap band. Anyone been approved for lap Band with Medicaid? I know if i get denial we'll work something out. but i'm seriously stressing on this. Thanks bunches. Robin

Topic: RE: Clothes
I really know how you feel. I'm a size 24-26 (it depends on the jeans) and it's always a problem with jeans. I dread to shop, but the girl in me loves it. I usually buy my clothes at Rainbow, they have a great plus size department, but i haven't gone to them recently because they took away their dressing rooms and for someone like me, a dressing room is a MUST. I've ordered some stuff off line at Torrid, they carry 26 so that works out, but they are VERY expensive. I also ordered a pair of strappy pants from Hottopic.com (The actual stores of Hottopic doesnt have plus sizes, you have to order them exclusivly off Hottopic.com...which is retarded) But anyway they carry a 26 too which is good. It was so hard to find 26's in the regular stores, even in the plus size department. I have only found about 1 or 2 pairs of 26's while shopping on the rack at the 'cheep' 'trendy' stores...like Rainbow. I know Avenue, and LanBryant, Ashley Stewart...they all carry 26's but to be honest i don't have the money for those places. So i feel what you're saying 100%. I've gone to the store and SO many times the 24 wouldnt fit me...none of them and i cried. I must say it will be nice to actually go into a store knowing that the size will fit you, not saying in you're head 'Well maybe if they are stretch or a loose fit the 24 will fit' You go in knowing that it WILL fit you. Hang in there girl, ill try to! Robin

Topic: RE: Looking for a surgeon
I'm still pre-op, but my surgeon is Dr Kini. he works out of Mount Sini in NYC. He has a profile on here, look him up. I'm 16, that's his minimum age, but on anyone under 18 he reccomends the Lap band. Robin
