Topic: Journalist seeking teens or parents of teens considering surgery
I'm looking for someone to interivew for an article I'm writing for The Daily Beast about teens and weight loss. It would be really basic and direct. Sample questions include:  why are you considering surgery? Where do you get the most pressure to be thin from? How did you first find out about it? Have you noticed advertisments about it? How have people in your life reacted?  Need to speak with someone asap.

Thanks, and I'm looking foward to hearing from you.

Topic: For you Teens out there!
If your a teen and reading this, then one thought I am sure you have is, "It sucks ass being over weight."  Maybe not so colorful, but it's honest.

I didn't have much interest in adults telling me what to read or do, or say when i was young.  It was hard to make anyone really understand anything...

Your not alone in the world.  I hope your way becomes visible some how.  I hope the crap you have to take on a daily basis doesn't make you too bitter.  Fight the good fight and win with honor.  Don't give up...

I hate always having to be the one who tells her no or who has to be the voice of reason about junk food.  But I'm kinda just at that point that if I don't do it, it has become very clear that NO ONE else will.  Hate this!!!!!

i definately understand how you feel. my 18 year old daughter is morbidly obese and  my 14 year old son is obese. until  my daughter was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes on monday, no one but me was concerned about her weight. i am totally frustrated and wish i knew how to help them beside saying " you cant have this and you cant have that".
