Ok....so this is embarrasing to post and I don't know if I'll get any replies...but here it goes... Yesterday I went shopping because I realized I didn't have any jeans that fit. Well all my jeans are a size 24 and all are getting a bit too tight to wear..don't laugh..I went to like 4 or 5 different stores and coulndn't find not one pair of size 26 jeans. I only found like 4 pairs of size 24 jeans. Well the jeans that I did find were not even cute. They were soooo ugly, and they didn't even fit...at all. I ended up crying in the dressing room cuz it was such a horrible experience. I hate shopping now. Ok. So my question for everyone is where do you buy your clothes? And is it as horrible for you as it was for me? Have you ever had a good experience in buying clothes?....like have you ever found a store that had cute stuff that actually fit? Any replies would be greatly appreciated!!!

hey! go to layne bryant, fashion bug, torrid, mervyns, target, walmart, kmart. and if you dont have any of these near you shop online at these stores. www.torrid.com or www.fashionbug.com or look at the store locators on the websites of these stores. dont worry you will find clothes, a lot of stores are getting better at carrying plus size, but beware it is expensive stuff. also old navy now has a plus size section and sometimes gap carries plus size. good luck and take care. tiffany

I really know how you feel. I'm a size 24-26 (it depends on the jeans) and it's always a problem with jeans. I dread to shop, but the girl in me loves it. I usually buy my clothes at Rainbow, they have a great plus size department, but i haven't gone to them recently because they took away their dressing rooms and for someone like me, a dressing room is a MUST. I've ordered some stuff off line at Torrid, they carry 26 so that works out, but they are VERY expensive. I also ordered a pair of strappy pants from Hottopic.com (The actual stores of Hottopic doesnt have plus sizes, you have to order them exclusivly off Hottopic.com...which is retarded) But anyway they carry a 26 too which is good. It was so hard to find 26's in the regular stores, even in the plus size department. I have only found about 1 or 2 pairs of 26's while shopping on the rack at the 'cheep' 'trendy' stores...like Rainbow. I know Avenue, and LanBryant, Ashley Stewart...they all carry 26's but to be honest i don't have the money for those places. So i feel what you're saying 100%. I've gone to the store and SO many times the 24 wouldnt fit me...none of them and i cried. I must say it will be nice to actually go into a store knowing that the size will fit you, not saying in you're head 'Well maybe if they are stretch or a loose fit the 24 will fit' You go in knowing that it WILL fit you. Hang in there girl, ill try to! Robin

I buy all my clothes online because well I love in germany and all the girls here are the size of a toothpick. I mean they do have bigger size clothing but they are so not cute. They have great clothes online, some websites i got to are alloy.com, torrid.com, fashionbug.com, sizeappeal.com, bandlu.com, and alight.com. Good luck!
