My daughter is 17 and I am an over concerned mom. She had gastric bypass on August 1, 2005 and is doing fantastic. I would love to see her post some photos so you all can see. She is down over 60 lbs and looks great but better yet she is so happy I cannot tell you. She glows. She is going to be interviewed and photographed by a medical journal in Colorado on Wednesday. Hey mom!..lolz...my mother, like you, is also an over concerned mom. Congratz to ur daughter. I'm also 17 years old and im eager to get my surgery. I hope my insurance says I can get it. :-/ It's stressing waiting for what's actually going to happen. O well.
