any diet tips
my surgeon has a 5lb policy if u gain more than 5 lbs since ur initial consultation then ur surgery gets cancelled. well because of insurance problems my initial consultation was 18 months ago. well needless to say i have gained like 40lbs and need to lose the ASAP. any tips beside starving myself because obvioulsy i didn't get this big by skipping meals. any pills or diets that worked well for anyone. i want the surgery by the end of sept.
p.s. insurance already cleared me so i just have to lose the weight.
ok this is what id tell you to do. go buy some fat burning pills, like hydroxycut, and follow what those tell you to do. and then start out on say 1500 calorie diet and do that for a couple of weeks and then switch down to a 1200 calorie a day diet, and then stick with that for the remainder of time. youre calories should come from protein and fats, try and stay away from too much saturated fats though. go hardcore on your water intake, im talking about 140+ oz a day. all of this coupled with atleast an hour of exercise a day, lets say walk two miles in the morning, two in the night time. the number one thing is stay away from sugars on the mass scale, like no cokes, or ice cream or anything like that. if you do have sugars eat them early in the day and not late at night. eat atleast 5 times a day. if you really try doing all of this then theres no reason you shouldnt atleast come close to losing that weight.... its worth a shot no matter what. good luck.
Ok Michelle...
I am going to tell you to do what Ashley suggested! My surgeon put me on a 2 week liquid diet before my surgery. In 2 weeks I lost 30 pounds. Yes I was hungry but what I did was eat low calorie veggies and any diet liquid drinks. Its was hard but I did it and I lost 30 pounds in 2 weeks! You should give it a try. If you have any questions you can email me at [email protected]. Good luck with everything! I am also so happy that insurance cleared you.
