Lap-Band?

Anyone in here have the Lap-Band? If so how is your skin adjusting to the weight loss? Are you working out/lifting weights?
I'm 23 and am so worried that my skin will be so saggy I won't be able to wear tank tops or halter tops.
Thank you!
Hey Tiff I Just Had Lap Band Around 3 Months Ago. My Arms Are Sagging A Little But Let Me Tell You The Best Thing. I Know It's Going to Sound Funny But It's True. Get A Can Of Beans Or Something Along The Line Of That. Anytime I'm Doing Not At All I Just Elevate My Arms And Curl Them Up I've Been Doing This For About 2 Weeks And I'm Lost About 6 Inches In My Arms...Hell I Have Already Decided Every 3 Months I'm Going To Get A Body Wrap To Try To Prevent Loose Skin. I Think That Would Help. Anyways I Hope This Helped You. Let Me Know If I can Help Any Other Way.

Thank you Tina! I'll add you to my e-mail. CONGRATULATIONS on your weight loss! 50 lbs. in 6 months! YOU GO GIRL!
A body wrap will help prevent loose skin? Is there a special type to get? GOOD FOR YOU ON WORKING THOSE ARMS! Hey walking is one of the best things you can do! Keep it up!
I had my consultation with Dr. Johnell this morning, and he said that in his experience, the skin bounces back pretty well for people around my age and weight. I better start doing laps in the pool, so I'll be in the habbit. I'm gonna work up to 5 times a week!
I'm 23 also, and I've been banded for a year and lost a little over 50 lbs. I still have another 90 or so to lose, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to want to have some work done. My mom is convinced that people our age should be fine, but I'm not so sure, lol.
I've not been working out like I should, kind of on and off, but I'll be starting again soon with the 'mini gym' my mom and I are building in her house.
