Hi Carrie, That's a big let down for him. His was in the military, and was murdered when he went to a reserve and was working on the civilian side. That contributed to his weight gain, and it was a big thing for him to join. Mostly because he wanted to, but also because he knew his Dad would be proud of him for overcoming the obstacles in his life. How exactly does the peace corps work?

Hi Tara, we have looked into loans, but the problem is actually getting one. He's unemployed at the moment and even when he is employed, he only works part time. He doesn't have anything for collateral, and has no credit. If we could find a way around it, we would.
